Key features
The original part of Villa Freya was built between the 18th & 19th centuries along the border of the pre-existing medieval walls. The house was at one time owned by the British writer and traveller, Freya Stark whom the property is named after. The current owners have carried out an extensive refurbishment programme, returning the building to its former glory and retaining the original spirit of the house. Outside there are beautiful gardens, with mature roses and hornbeams, and a wonderful view of the famous fortress of Asolo, La Rocca. The villa is situated in the historic centre of Asolo, within a few steps from shops, restaurants and bars.
